Summary


We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Urology Administrator to join our dynamic team within our team here at Mid and south Essex Foundation Trust

This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle high-demand situations while ensuring smooth operations within Urology Cancer Pathways.

In this role you will be responsible for the supporting all of the cancer clinics and meeting the capacity demands of the Urology Cancer Division.

And will support the other Divisions within Urology with Various Duties.
• Manage and maintain waiting lists in conjunction with the Junior Service Manager in accordance with Trust policy.
• Required to work autonomously, indirectly under the supervision of the Junior Service Manager and Nursing Team, this will include making decisions about the booking of choose and book patients.
• To ensure all clinics are cancelled to coincide with nursing A/L study days/ professional etc.
• Book / cancel outpatient appointments as required.
• Work with junior service manager to reduce wait times for our cancer patients and highlight any bottlenecks within the service which would prevent patients being booked.
• Clear the telephone voice mail daily, and take action as required.
• Ensure correct information has been inputted into the relevant systems.
• Cross cover with Patient Pathway Officers within the Team at times of annual leave, sick leave whilst continuing own duties.
