Summary
Join Our Team as a Male Weekend Support Worker in Worcester (WR5)
Location: Worcester, WR5 (Just a 3min Drive from Worcester Shrub Hill Train Station)
Pay Rate: £12.31 per hour
Sleep-In Shifts: £50 per night
Hours: 16 hours per weekend (plus sleep-in shift)
Shifts:
- Day Shifts: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 1:00 PM - 8:30 PM
- Long Day with Sleep-In: 2:00 PM - 1:00 PM (next day)
- Sleep-In: 10:30 PM - 7:30 AM (paid to sleep)
Driver Requirement: Full UK Manual Driving Licence (Essential)
Are you energetic, creative, and ready to make a real difference in just one weekend? We're looking for a Male Support Worker to join our friendly team in Worcester, supporting four incredible individuals to live life to the fullest.
Who Will You Be Supporting?You'll be supporting two men and two women, aged between their 40s and 70s, all with autism, learning disabilities, cerebral palsy, and well-managed epilepsy. Each person has their own unique personality, interests, and support needs.
- Two gentlemen are full-time wheelchair users
- One lady uses a wheelchair when out and about
- Three individuals require support with eating and drinking
- All require support with personal care and medication
What Will You Be Doing?As a Support Worker, you'll be:
- Promoting Independence: Encouraging people to be involved in their daily routines and decisions
- Daily Living Support: Assisting with personal care, mobility, medication, and meal preparation
- Engaging in Activities: Supporting with trips to the hydro pool, sightseeing, football matches, pub visits, holidays, and more
- Being a Positive Presence: Bringing energy, empathy, and encouragement to every shift
This is a weekend-only role, perfect for someone looking to make a meaningful impact in a short amount of time.
