Summary
At Little Rainbows a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Apprentice is required for this busy open plan day nursery.
You will be trained up in all aspects of the Level 2 Qualification including:
Toileting
Feeding
Planning activities
Doing risk assessments
Telling stories
Reading
Counting
Safeguarding Children
Communicating with team and children and parents
Training
Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your
employer. Little Rainbows will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to
up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated
as part of your working day.
You will be working towards the Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship standard,
which includes:
Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Qualification
Functional skills in Maths and
English if required
This will be delivered through Little Rainbow's dedicated training provider,
Realise.
Realise is an established training provider that’s enjoying an
exciting period of growth following a management buyout and rebrand in late
2020.
Qualifications required
No formal requirement but must have basic literacy and numeracy skills
Skills required
Must be keen and interested in working with Children
Must be hardworking and motivated
Prospects
Once qualified will progress onto Level 3 Childcare or Leadership and Supervision Level 3
Qualification / Standard : ST0888 Early years practitioner
Duration 12 months
