Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Parking Representation & Appeals Officer - Interims to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and processing parking appeals and representations submitted by the public. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant regulations while delivering a responsive and effective service. Your expertise in interpreting traffic regulations and your analytical skills will be vital in making informed decisions on appeals, ensuring that all cases are handled fairly and transparently. As a key player in our parking enforcement process, you will contribute to promoting responsible parking behavior and enhancing the public’s trust in our services. You will also engage with the public, providing clarity and guidance on the appeals process, which may involve communicating complex legal information in an easily understandable manner. This is an interim position requiring someone who can work efficiently and handle a high volume of appeals with a strong commitment to quality and accuracy. Responsibilities
Review and assess parking penalty charge notices for validity and compliance with regulations.
Handle incoming appeals and representations from the public.
Communicate with stakeholders regarding appeals and necessary information.
Conduct thorough investigations into disputed parking tickets.
Prepare detailed reports outlining the reasons for acceptance or rejection of appeals.
Maintain accurate records of all appeals processes, decisions made, and communications.
Ensure compliance with current traffic management laws and regulations.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in handling parking representations or similar roles.
Strong understanding of traffic regulations and parking enforcement.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to analyze complex information and make sound decisions.
Proficient in using computer systems and software for record-keeping and report generation.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Hours Per Week: 37.5
Start Time: 08:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £21.39
