HR Operations Officer

Description
The Supported Housing Scheme Worker plays a vital role in assisting vulnerable individuals who require support to live independently within the community. This position involves providing tailored support and guidance to residents within the supported housing framework, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to thrive. As a Supported Housing Scheme Worker, you will be integral in facilitating personal development and fostering a sense of belonging among residents. You will work closely with individuals to develop personalized support plans that address their unique needs, challenges, and aspirations. This role demands a compassionate and empathetic approach, as you will frequently engage with individuals facing a range of difficulties, including mental health challenges, substance misuse, or social isolation. In addition to providing direct support, you will work collaboratively with other professionals, agencies, and stakeholders to ensure the safety, well-being, and inclusion of all residents. By promoting independence and self-sufficiency, you will help individuals enhance their quality of life and build confidence in their abilities to manage daily tasks and responsibilities. Responsibilities
Provide emotional and practical support to residents in their daily lives.
Develop and implement individualized support plans in collaboration with residents and other professionals.
Conduct regular assessments of residents' needs and progress, adjusting support plans as necessary.
Facilitate life skills training sessions to promote independence and self-sufficiency.
Act as a liaison between residents and external agencies to ensure access to necessary services and resources.
Monitor residents' well-being and report any concerns to appropriate authorities timely.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of residents' progress and support services offered.
Requirements
Proven experience in social care, supported housing, or a related field.
Strong understanding of the challenges faced by individuals in supported housing.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with residents.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Compassionate and non-judgmental attitude towards individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases effectively.
Commitment to promoting and maintaining the dignity and rights of all residents.
