Part‑Time Community Manager (French-speaking) – Remote, UK
About the Role
We’re looking for a fluent French and English speaker to join the community team of a major gaming client. This is a part‑time, remote position ideal for someone passionate about games, online culture, and digital communities. You’ll start with paid online training, then move into flexible, part-time hours managing and supporting a vibrant player community.
Schedule & Compensation
Start Date: July 2025 (approx), with remote onboarding and training
Hours: Typically 10–15 per week to begin with, with potential to increase
Rate: Up to £12.30 per hour, depending on progression in the role
Location: Fully remote (UK-based only)
️ What You'll Be Doing
Engage and moderate across platforms (Discord, Reddit, Twitter, forums, etc.)
Create and schedule community content based on briefs
Respond directly to players and help build a positive online space
Support livestreams, contests, and influencer/community events
Compile engagement reports and surface key community insights
Collaborate with other teams to enhance community experience
Contribute to player FAQs, guides, and support documentation
Escalate technical or player issues where needed
What You’ll Bring
Full fluency in French (C2/C1) and strong English communication (min. B2)
Experience in community management, social moderation, or live ops (paid or volunteer)
Genuine love for gaming and deep understanding of player communities
Tech-savvy with strong organisational skills and a clear writing style
Confident navigating social channels, reports, and feedback loops
Tech Requirements
Windows PC or laptop (12 GB RAM+, i5 or better; dual screens recommended)
Wired internet (25 Mbps+), headset with noise-cancelling mic
Able to work from a quiet, reliable remote setup
Essentials
Must be UK-based and over 18
Eligible to work in the UK (proof required)
Criminal background check required
Self-employed/contractor status
