Summary
Title: LGV Cat C+E (Class 1) Driver / Class 1 Driver The Best Connection Group LTD are looking for HGV (Class 1) LGV C+E Drivers to work at one of our clients based in the Milton Keynes/Buckingham area.
The roles will include; driving a HGV Class 1 flatbed vehicle in a safe and professional manner, whilst delivering pre-build empty pallets to sites across England. All loads must be secured with straps prior.
The shift will be Monday to Friday. Start times usually start 07:00.They can change on a daily basis depending on allocation of routes.
Pay rates are £17.00 per hour for the first 8 hours Monday to Friday, after 8 hours you will be paid £22.61. Saturday shift pay rate is £25.50.
Responsibilities: Operate a delivery HGV vehicle safely and efficiently to transport goods to customers Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries. Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner. Perform basic maintenance checks on the vehicle and report any issues or malfunctions. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle. Qualifications: A Full Valid UK Licence with HGV Category C+E with a minimum of 1 year flatbed experience A Valid CPC and Digital tacho card All HGV drivers are required to have no more than 6 points and any DR, DG or DD endorsements will not be accepted.
