Summary
Responsible for assisting in the efficient and effective operation and service of the food stores to the kitchen and ward staff and other catering outlet, taken responsibility when head storekeeper is off and associated cleaning and hygiene related duties. Job Purpose Responsible for the efficient operation of the catering stores. The monitoring, ordering and stock rotation of all goods held within catering stores. The issue and delivery of goods to other departments and sites and the hygienic maintenance of the catering stores area. Please note it is a requirement of The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust that all successful candidates who require a DBS for the post they have been offered pay for their DBS certificate.The method of payment is a salary deduction from your first months pay.
