Teaching Assistants x 2 Temporary for one year due to budget Post Ref: ED50241690 and ED50282249 Grade 3 SCP 3 - 6 £24,027- £25,183 FTE PRO RATA 32.5 hours per week / 39 Weeks per year 8.30am – 3.30pm with ½ hour lunch break Start Date: Monday 1st September 2025 Bryn Celyn Primary School is a modern build school with 210 pupil capacity in the Pentwyn area of the city. The Governing Body is seeking to appoint 2 temporary teaching assistants. Under the Education (Wales) Act 2014, all School Learning Support Workers must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC). This salary is subject to the Living Wage supplement which brings pay rates up to £12 per hour (scp 2 - 4). This supplement will be reviewed in January 2024 and thereafter annually in April. Cardiff Council reserves the right to make any changes to, or removal of, the Living Wage supplement. These posts are subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check.
