Role
Role & ResponsibilitiesAs a Trainee Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting students' academic and personal development within a small, supportive class. You will work alongside experienced SEN teachers, receiving comprehensive training and mentorship as you contribute to lesson planning, delivery, and assessment. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring a holistic approach to learning. This is an opportunity to build strong relationships with students and contribute significantly to their growth.
Main tasks include- Assisting in the planning and delivery of engaging and differentiated lessons.
- Supporting students' academic and personal development.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
- Assessing student progress and identifying areas for development.
- Maintaining a positive and stimulating learning environment.
Requirements
- A genuine passion for working with children with SEN.
- GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade C or above).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and resilience.
- Commitment to professional development.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Understanding of, or willingness to learn about, various special educational needs.
- Immediate availability.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Please note that experience with SEN is beneficial but not mandatory.
