Summary
Speech and Language Therapist (SALT) - Specialist SEN School
Location: Croydon
Salary: Up to £43,000
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
We are working with a specialist independent school in Croydon that supports children and young people with a range of complex needs, including autism, social and emotional difficulties, speech and language delay, and sensory processing challenges. The school has a strong therapeutic ethos and is looking to welcome a qualified Speech and Language Therapist to their multi-disciplinary team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with teaching staff, families, and therapy professionals in a setting that prioritises communication, connection and holistic support. You'll be joining a nurturing environment where every child is seen as an individual, and where therapy is embedded throughout the school day.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out individual and group therapy sessions in line with EHCP targets

Support staff with strategies to embed communication work into daily classroom life

Monitor progress and adapt plans to suit pupils' changing needs

Liaise closely with families, external agencies and internal teams to support communication development across the school
