Our client, a well-respected and forward-thinking early years provider, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Room Leader to join their large, beautifully designed nursery. This is a full-time, permanent role offering up to £32,500 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Set in a vibrant and nurturing space, the nursery features separate rooms for each age group, with each having its own dedicated garden. From yoga and cooking classes to creative play and outdoor exploration, the setting offers rich learning opportunities that spark curiosity and joy in every child.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioner who is ready to lead a room, inspire a team, and help create magical moments in a child’s early learning journey.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education – essential
  • Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting, ideally in a senior or room leader role
  • Excellent knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding, and child development
  • Confident in leading a team with strong organisational and communication skills
  • A warm, empathetic approach and a passion for inclusive early years education

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a specific age-group room, creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
  • Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Supervise and support a team of nursery practitioners, encouraging development and positive team culture
  • Foster strong relationships with children and their families, promoting open and supportive communication
  • Monitor children’s progress and maintain accurate records of observations, assessments, and reports
  • Ensure the room meets all safeguarding, health & safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Support the wider nursery team and contribute to continuous improvement across the setting
