Summary
Bonded Wadding Inspector
Shifts: Monday to Friday, Rotating Shifts (06:15–14:15 and 14:15–22:15)
Are you detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and looking to grow in a fast-paced production environment?
We are currently seeking a Bonded Wadding 2 Inspector to join our client based in Mirfield.
Key Responsibilities
Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Inspect product quality during production and cover for the Machine Foreman during breaks.
Ensure all products meet customer specifications and quality standards.
Report quality or mechanical issues to the Machine Foreman, Shift Manager, or Maintenance Manager and assist in resolving them using problem-solving skills.
Accurately log downtime and stoppages using our networked SFOL (Shop Floor Online) system.
Communicate operational concerns to the Shift Manager and participate in troubleshooting activities.
Record and manage quality check results and maintain documentation for product traceability.
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in a production or warehouse environment is a plus, but not essential—full training will be provided.
A proactive team player who can also work independently.
Strong multitasking and communication skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt quickly in a high-paced setting.
Good organisational skills with attention to detail.
Basic computer literacy.
