Summary

Data Processing Assistant | Remote (with occasional on-site meetings if required) | Part-time - 15 hours per week | £15,340 per annum

Our client is a busy transport charity providing passenger transport support to a wide variety of organisations across East London, as well as delivering transport services on behalf of public bodies.

They are seeking a well-organised, part-time Data Processing Assistant with experience in a research or data-handling environment to support the delivery of a Motability-funded feasibility study. The study explores new models of sub-regional community transport delivery across Haringey, Hackney, and Enfield, with a strong focus on improving access for Disabled and older people.

The post-holder will assist in managing data collected from surveys, interviews, and secondary sources. This is a key operational role within a collaborative team involving consultants, stakeholders, and voluntary sector partners.

Are you the right person for the job?

• Support the Project Co-ordinator in managing and organising data collection processes
• Enter survey and engagement data into the Zoho project management system and related databases
• Review and verify data for accuracy, consistency, and completeness
• Maintain confidentiality and secure storage of all data, in line with GDPR and internal data protocols
• Regularly update spreadsheets, records, and logs used to track project outputs
• Produce summary data tables and populate reporting dashboards for review by the Project Co-ordinator and Project Board
• Generate basic reports and data summaries from Zoho and spreadsheet systems as needed
• Maintain clear records of data updates, corrections, and backups
• Liaise with project team members (including consultants and Project Board members) to clarify data queries or resolve inconsistencies
• Carry out general administrative duties such as scanning, minute taking, filing, and maintaining up-to-date digital records
