Summary
The primary requirement is to facilitate and supervise Family Time between children and their family members. During this time, you will need to ensure the child gets the best experience from these sessions and remains safeguarded whilst supporting the family member as necessary and appropriate.
You will be responsible for assisting and supporting with transport arrangements including transporting children to and from the centre.
You will need to accurately document sessions for later use in order to assist Social Workers with completing assessments and informing care plans.
You will need to be familiar with Amber Family’s safeguarding policies and ensure any concerns or incidents are reported to the appropriate person.
You will need to be able to demonstrate that you can develop good working relationships with the families that you support.
Hours will not be guaranteed and may change at short notice, so flexibility is a must.
