Our client is a leading player in the regulated gambling industry, offering a wide range of existing top-class products and services. They are seeking a Deputy Compliance and CRM Officer/Assistant to join their team, support the execution of compliance strategies and enhance their customer relationship management efforts.

Hours & Salary
Full Time, Permanent, Office-based
8am - 4.30pm (40 hours)
£28K - £33K subject to experience
Compliance Responsibilities:
- Customer Due Diligence: Perform KYC verifications during customer onboarding, ensuring accurate and thorough due diligence reviews. Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) on high-risk and PEP customers.
- Ensure compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) and Responsible Gambling policies.
- Transaction Monitoring: Assist in monitoring and analysing customer transactions to identify suspicious activity. Report potential fraud or unusual transactions to the MLRO/Compliance Manager for further review.
- Compliance Support: Periodically review and update customer risk profiles, ID documents, proof of address, and conduct background checks.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of customer due diligence reviews, investigations, and decisions.
- IT and System Development: Assist in developing IT tools and programs to improve compliance processes.
- Monitor high-risk customers and ensure appropriate actions are taken in accordance with company policies.
- Proactively identify and manage risks related to customer behaviour, transactions, and regulatory compliance.
- Perform customer interaction calls when needed.
Customer Relationship Management Responsibilities:
- Support the development and execution of CRM strategies to enhance customer retention, loyalty, and satisfaction.
- Analyse customer data and trends to identify opportunities for improving customer engagement and communication.
- Monitor and resolve any customer complaints related to compliance issues or regulatory concerns.
Job Experience Requirements:
- Knowledge of customer due diligence processes, including Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD and Know Your Customer (KYC).
- Familiarity with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF) regulations.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Proactive and determined attitude.
- Prior experience in a Compliance/AML role (preferred).
- Experience with Zendesk and LexisNexis (preferred).
Skills Needed:
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
