Summary

13 hours per week
1 hour mornings Monday – Friday 7-8am
2 hours evenings Monday – Thursday 4.30pm -6.30pm
We are looking for a personal assistant to help a 20 year old female with cerebal palsy and mobility issues with her personal care.
You would support our client with personal care to get washed and dressed in the morning, assisting with transferring her into her wheelchair, some light housework and assisting with showering 4 evenings a week.
Applicants must have a caring attitude, have a good sense of humour, be reliable with a positive and flexible approach to work. Having experience with hoist use is essential. Applicant will be working alongside an existing PA team in the family home.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Provision of personal care
• Assisting client to shower; dry; change clothes.
• Transfers using hoist
• Administration of medication/setting up feeding pump (training will be given)
• Assistance with keeping house tidy
