Summary

Are you looking for a new challenge in a rewarding environment?

Applications are invited for Band 5 Registered Nurses to work within our neonatal unit.

We are looking for highly motivated, compassionate and enthusiastic nurses to join our neonatal nursing team. We have a part time position available for individuals with a positive attitude and good communication skills.

Our Neonatal Unit is situated within Broomfield Hospital and is part of the East of England Operational Delivery Network. The Neonatal Ward is a Level 2 Local Unit and offers comprehensive neonatal services, which include designated Intensive Care cots, High Dependency cots, Special Care cots and a Transitional Care Service.

We are Gold level Bliss Accredited, and always strive to provide high quality, safe and effective care and are looking for someone with the vision, skill and enthusiasm to help take the unit forward.

We have Stage 2 BFI and continue to work towards Stage 3.

As a Band 5 nurse, you will work within the team to provide, and support the provision of a high standard of neonatal nursing care for the infant and their family. The job will entail working in the neonatal intensive care unit and offering some transitional care support on the postnatal ward.

Our staff confidently offer advice and support to parent/carers of babies for a range of issues from infant feeding to information about safety in the home. Within the Neonatal Unit the focus of care will be on those babies requiring special care, high dependency care and intensive care.

Our ambition is to deliver excellent local and specialist services, to improve the health and wellbeing of our patients, and provide a vibrant place for staff to develop, innovate and build careers.

We aim to make the most of our skills and experiences so we can become the best we can be. As one organisation we will recruit the finest and retain more specialist staff due to more employment opportunities across our Trust
