We are looking for a Multi Skilled Operative to provide mobile delivery of facilities support services across our client sites. You will be responsible for carrying out a range of make first, first attendance tasks and business support, including mail room duties, porterage/FF&E, and reactive Cleaning/Janitorial duties. You will report to the Facilities Manager to support as required.
You should be capable of receiving, sorting, and delivering inbound post alongside distribution and collection of any internal post, including Tracked, Special or Recorded Delivery Post. Maintaining accurate documentation of all assigned work orders is also expected. You will be expected to attend to any reactive cleaning, minor porterage, furniture, fixtures and equipment duties, whilst fully complying to Health, Safety & Environmental policies.
You should have good time management skills and a flexible approach to work and working hours (subject to EU Working Time Directive) with the ability to complete tasks correctly the first time, within a pre-determined timescale. Ensuring building occupants are made aware of work order progress in a timely manner is expected. You should also be able to provide a schedule of works for identified additional/remedial duties, always following risk and method statements as required daily. You may be expected to undertake further training.
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of Health & Safety requirements within a building environment with a proactive approach to building management. Providing excellent customer service to building occupants is essential so experience working in a customer focused environment is highly desirable.
