JOB OVERVIEW
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Fire Sprinkler Fitter / Installer who has previous experience installing fire sprinkler systems, including screwed Victaulic, flanged and second fix pipework within commercial or industrial settings.
Working as a Fire Sprinkler Fitter / Advanced Fitter / Installer you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the successful installation of fire sprinkler systems to the highest standards. You’ll lead by example, mentoring and guiding improvers and fitters’ mates while fostering a culture of learning and teamwork. Your responsibilities will include strict compliance with RAMS, COSHH, and all relevant health and safety protocols, as well as managing site materials, tools, and plant equipment effectively.
As the Fire Sprinkler Fitter / Advanced Fitter / Installer you’ll be expected to read and interpret technical drawings accurately, complete all necessary site documentation, and support other departments to maintain a positive and productive team environment. Representing the company professionally on-site is essential, along with ensuring inductions are completed before each project begins.
Your responsibilities also include reporting any issues to the Labour or Project Manager, ordering materials through the correct channels. Additionally, you’ll attend training sessions and meetings as required to stay aligned with company standards and expectations.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
As the Fire Sprinkler Fitter / Advanced Fitter / Installer you will have the following:
• A valid UK driver’s license (company van provided with personal use)
• Proven experience in fire sprinkler system installation
• Ability to lead, train, and support junior team members
• Strong understanding of site safety and documentation
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A proactive, professional, and courteous attitude
