Summary
A position has arisen to join our workshop team,
UK Loco Ltd are based in Cropthorne, in between Pershore and Evesham. Candidates ideally would be within a 20m radius and must be able to reliably commute to Heath Park on the B4084.
UK Loco Ltd is a small to medium company and is involved in the manufacture of themed attractions, large permanent props and show mechanical equipment for the theme park industry and we are looking for a skilled or semi skilled mechanical fitter to join our team. This a varied role working with a number of different materials to produce stunning and quality elements for theme park in the UK and Europe.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
• Experience, preferably in assembly and fitting in a workshop environment or a service engineering industry.
Desirable experience, knowledge of the following:
• Good experience of general workshop practices.
• Working with a variety of materials
• Cutting, drilling forming, riveting, bonding.
• Bench fitting and assembly .
• Able to work with others in order to develop aims of the business, flexible and able to adapt to working on different unusual projects
• Understanding of Health & Safety procedures relevant to engineering activities.
• Some site work / installation works UK and Europe may be involved.
• Applicant will require own transport, site parking is available
• Be able to work from engineering drawings
Candidates should,
• Have ideally completed a recognised apprenticeship or hold a recognised qualification( e.g. City & Guilds, BTEC, NVQ or ONC in a mechanical or automotive engineering discipline or a comparable national or service qualification)
This is a full-time, permanent position with immediate start available. This will be subject to a 12 week probation period.
Standard hours: 39 per week
