Summary
Early identification of new patients admitted each day, who fall into the following categories: 1) Pre-op >60 years with fractures (ex NOF) 2) Those >60 years under orthopaedics who are unwell with medical problems Arranging/completing the following as part of the Complex Geriatric Assessment - Appropriate screening bloods , ECG, Falls review, Bone health review, Medication review and rationalisation, 4AT on admission and during IP stay, Consideration of further investigations (CXR, CT etc), Social history and collateral. - -
