Job Title: Management Accountant

Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 (DOE) + Study Support

Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join a growing finance team. This role is ideal for a finance professional who is qualified, part-qualified, or actively studying towards ACCA, CIMA, or an equivalent qualification. Full study support is available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including journals, accruals, and prepayments
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to management
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain financial controls
- Prepare and submit VAT returns
- Support year-end audit processes
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to deliver financial insight
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Assist with cash flow forecasting and analysis
Requirements:
- Experience in a Management Accountant or Assistant Management Accountant role
- Actively studying towards ACCA/CIMA or qualified by experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software (Sage desirable)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Proactive and eager to develop professionally
