About the Role:


As the Lead Business Analyst, you will:

  • Develop and lead the business analyst community, setting standards and mentoring analysts across the organisation.
  • Take ownership of the most complex, high-risk, and interdependent products and services.
  • Work across multiple product teams to ensure user needs are central to all decisions.
  • Use data and evidence to guide product development, measure value, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Translate strategic vision into prioritised, deliverable user stories and product backlogs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead a high-performing business analysis function, supporting both professional development and delivery of excellence.
  • Create and execute research and analysis plans to inform nuanced decision-making.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure services are accessible, intuitive, and user-centred.
  • Track product performance and user outcomes to inform iteration and improvement.
  • Champion agile ways of working and coach stakeholders on digital transformation best practices.

  • Proven experience delivering digital products in large, complex organisations using agile methodologies.
  • Strong ability to identify problems, build evidence, and drive product decisions.
  • Significant knowledge of product strategy, service design, and user-centred design principles.
  • Deep understanding of agile delivery, software development practices, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
