An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Locum Consultant Radiologist with Interests in Nuclear Medicine and Cardiac Imaging, to join our teams in the Nuclear Medicine and General Radiology departments at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust. The post will be for up to 12 months.

We are one of the UK’s largest teaching Trusts, a major trauma centre and regional Nuclear Medicine centre, serving a regional population of 1.5 million in a modern PFI facility (which ensures a guaranteed equipment replacement programme).

We are the principal Teaching hospital for Warwick Medical School and opportunities exist for increased research collaboration with Warwick University. You will be provided with home PACS for remote viewing of diagnostic imaging.

Successful applicants will be required to provide an immunisation and vaccination report, from either their current UK occupational health provider or their UK GP.

This post will be primarily based at the University Hospital site and will involve 10 programmed activities (10 PA). You will contribute to the Body Consultant on call rota and to provision of Nuclear Medicine and Cardiac Imaging diagnostic services. You will be an ARSAC license holder or be working towards this. You will be proficient in cardiac CT and MRI.

The primary purpose of the post will be to fulfil a key role in the provision of Nuclear Medicine, Cardiac specialist services and general support within the department. This includes reporting sessions and participation in multi-disciplinary meetings (MDTs). The department is seeking flexible candidates who will support and meet service needs.
