Where will you be working?
We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.
This role will be within our MEICA and capital maintenance team. Our Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation (MEICA) experts offer a one-stop solution, including ongoing operation and maintenance services.

What will you be doing?

You'll be responsible for leading or supporting minor civils work across various water utility companies' water distribution infrastructure. A typical day will include a mixture of excavation, chamber installation, ducting, flow meter installation/replacement, and pillar and post installs. You will assess hazards, determine risks, and promote a high level of safety. This will include all elements of Civils work, from breaking out through to installation and full reinstatement.

To be successful, you'll need a background in site work, with a focus on mechanical installation work. You'll be a forward thinker, with a keen eye for detail, delivering work in a timely manner while upholding the Z-Tech company values.

What you’ll bring

- UK driving license
- CSCS Card
- Experienced working in the highway and holding an NPORS machine qualification
