Summary
WorkwithYorkshire are working with a client who have a fantastic opportunity for an Events Executive to join their company.
This is a full time, permanent role based in Leeds, with some flexibility to work from home.
You will provide effective event management support to the Business Development & Marketing team, delivering a complex mixture of events.
A competitive rate of pay is available.
Duties:
You will;
Manage all in person, virtual and hybrid firm events.
Deliver events from proposal, through planning to completion, on time and within budget. Events include webinars, seminars, roundtables, conferences, receptions, networking and social events.
Organise couriers, when required, to deliver all the equipment needed for conferences e.g. stand, banners, and collateral
Keep the calendar of events up to date and project manage each event
Be working with colleagues, to ensure that all event administration is completed in a timely manner
Report on the events coming up and produce month end reports.
Key skills and experience;
One year’s experience in event management, preferably in a professional services environment
Desired: Marketing qualification (such as CIM certificate Level 4 or higher)
You will be confident, pragmatic and have a positive attitude.
Well organised, with a project-management approach to your work and a high level of attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong IT skills, particularly in relation to MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
