Summary
Job description:
Decide on the range and quality of beverages, snacks, and light meals offered by the restaurant
Plan and manage bar and catering services to meet customer demand and business objectives
Supervise and coordinate the activities of bar and waiting staff
Purchase or oversee the purchasing of stock, ingredients, and other bar supplies
Monitor and control inventory to reduce waste and prevent loss
Arrange for the preparation of accounts, stock reports, and budget tracking
Verify that food and drink quality, presentation, and service meet the expected standards
Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of all bar, kitchen, and dining areas in compliance with health and safety regulations
