Summary
Main Purpose • To have the overall responsibility for maintaining the cleaning standards daily specific Site.
• In consultation with the Cleaning Supervisor, to identify any cleaning issues and put in the required cleaning process to rectify.
• To monitor stocks of cleaning equipment and materials in order that orders can be placed on a timely basis.
• Pick up and drop off Staff at Sites when required.
Duties & Responsibilities
• To maintain a flexible daily cleaning schedule of all internal areas of any of the Cleaning Contracts.
• Ensure that identified key areas of the buildings receive priority in the schedule.
• Liaise with Soft Services Manager & Cleaning Supervisor to ensure client satisfaction.
• Check daily that all designated areas of the buildings are cleaned to a satisfactory standard and daily cleaning logs are completed for each work section.
• Undertake any additional cleaning duties as directed, by the Cleaning Supervisor or Soft Services Manager.
• To ensure that tools, equipment and materials are available as and when required to ensure the effective delivery of the service.
• To ensure that all Health & Safety procedures are followed, in accordance with company policies.
• Any other duties as may be considered reasonably appropriate for this post and agreed.
• Pick up and drop off staff safely and on a timely manner.
Skills & Knowledge
The successful candidate will have the following:
• Experience in a cleaning environment, preferably multi-site,
• BICSc certification to an appropriate level
• A pro-active attitude.
• Self-driven .
• Good communication skills
• The ability to form relationships with clients and to exceed customer expectation.
• Approachable demeanour and a demonstrable commitment to team working.
• A track record of delivering a similar role.
• A commitment to continuing professional development in relation to themselves and their team members.
Person Specification • Able to communicate clearly and effectively with all types of people
• A flexible and proactive approach to work
• Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements relevant to the equipment and chemicals being used
• Ability to work on own initiative to meet requirements of the role
• Full UK Driving licence .
