Summary

Job Description

Working in a hybrid style, based at home and Dundee House, you will work full time, 37 hours per week.

Requirements

You will have Corporate Membership RICS, CABE or CIOB or suitable equivalent.

Responsibilities

You will assist the Team Leader (Building Standards) to carry out the City Council’s Statutory function as a Building Standards authority.

The Individual

You will have experience in all aspects of the Building Standards role, including associated works covered under the Licensing Scotland Act and Civic Scotland Government Act and have a sound knowledge of the Building Scotland Act and associated statutory instruments.

You will be committed to a high standard of customer care with ​the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.

You will have good communication, IT and organisational skills and be able to work effectively on your own initiative and as part of a team. Committment to further personal development and training is also essential.

You must have a driving licence and be able to attend occasional evening meetings.
