Summary
Job: Class 2 ADR Driver
Location: Crawley
Pay: £16.58 PAYE
The Best Connection Employment Group are currently seeking Class 2 Drivers for ADHOC work for multiple clients in the Crawley and surrounding areas.
The successful candidate will possess a current and valid Category C Licence, Digi tacho and CPC card.
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday: 08:30 - 17:30 (Summer Hours) Monday to Friday: 08:30 - 17:00 (Winter Hours) Rate of Pay: £16.58 PAYE
Responsibilities of the Class 2 ADR Driver: Operate a Class 2 vehicle from Crawley, delivering ADR supplies to various locations around the UK. Occasional overnight journeys to remote locations, Cornwall, Wales & Scotland (overnight allowance offered, vehicle has a sleeper cab). Assisting with warehouse duties when not on the road, including forklift driving, stock check and dispatch duties. Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle in accordance with Company policy to ensure tyre pressure, fluid levels; safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order. Report any safety issues on standard reports. Adhering to assigned delivery schedule and following all job directives precisely Interact with dispatchers and others daily to ensure all task are carried out in a timely and professional manner. Follow all required safety policies and procedures. Requirements of the Class 2 Driver: Category C Licence. ADR Category 3 CPC. Digi Tacho. Due to the location and start times own transport is required.
