Workshop Operative Role
Overview
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and proactive Workshop Operative to join a busy manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, good attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities Operate across various workstations within the workshop as directed by team leaders. Carry out cleaning, basic maintenance, and safe operation of machinery (following training). Adhere to strict Health & Safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times. Perform quality checks on products throughout the production process. Report any faults or issues with equipment or production to supervisors immediately. Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Follow production schedules and prioritise tasks effectively. What Were Looking For Previous experience in a workshop, warehouse or production setting preferred. Basic understanding of machinery operation and maintenance (training provided). Strong team player with good communication skills. Able to follow instructions accurately and work independently when needed. Physically fit and capable of manual handling. Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
