The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the busy Licensing Team.
The team deals with the administration and enforcement of a diverse range of licensing requirements including the sale of alcohol, licensed entertainment, hackney carriage and private hire vehicles, drivers and operators, gambling, charity collections.
We are seeking to recruit a proactive, highly motivated individual to undertake the daily administrative functions of the team and support the Compliance Officers in their enforcement work.
You will be responsible for administering licence applications in accordance with the relevant statutory provisions and the Council’s policies and procedures.
About You
Working as part of a team you will assist in the continuity of administrative support to meet the varied service needs of the business, possess previous administrative experience including excellent verbal, written and IT skills and have high regard to the importance of customer satisfaction.
You will be will be flexible, adaptable, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and ensure that the highest standards of customer care are maintained in all aspects of service delivery
You would be required to assist/support officers and managers in the effective delivery of the regulatory services in accordance with the policies and guidelines as agreed by the Council and with regards to current legislation.
