St James CE Primary School is part of Vantage CE Academies Trust and is one of 10 schools across Manchester, Trafford, Salford, Bolton and Knowsley.
The Governors and Principal of our school are seeking to appoint a friendly, organised, and enthusiastic School Administrator to become a vital part of our welcoming school community.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant and nurturing primary school where no two days are the same.
As the first point of contact for our many visitors, you’ll be the face of our school, providing a warm welcome and professional support to children, parents, staff, and external agencies.
The successful candidate will work closely with the headteacher and senior leadership team to ensure that the school’s objectives are supported by an efficient and effective administration service.
This role would suit somebody looking to gain skills in a school office environment.
The successful candidate must have:
- GCSE Maths and English at grade 4 or above
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in relevant field or qualification by experience
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral, with evidence of effective interaction with and ability to relate to all stakeholders within the school and wider community
- Ability to use initiative and have a positive attitude towards the school ethos as well as be adaptable
- Ability to present a friendly and professional attitude
- A proven track record of good attendance
