Summary
The responsibilities for this role will include but are not limited to:
Conducting any recruiting duties including public enquiries either on-line, by telephone and in person and candidate processing.
Facilitating Defence Aptitude Assessments (DAA) and officer presentations at AFCO Aberdeen.
Maintaining the building and ensuring that the needs of the RAF and any other Service(s) present are met, in accordance with the lease and the Service-Level Agreements. This will include work service requests, improvements applications, contract monitoring etc.
Representing the RAF at Tri-Service meetings, taking and distributing minutes as required.
Holding and updating an inventory list of all RAF and Tri-Service equipment within the building.
Conducting annual reviews of the Business Continuity Plan (BCP), to ensure that it remains current and is an accurate reflection of the needs of the building and ensures its operational output.
Updating files as necessary to ensure building documentation remains centralised.
Logging monthly checks of fire equipment and biannual evacuation practices.
Tracking annual checks conducted by the local Fire Officer.
Complete Local Security Officer (LSO) duties, including basic IT administration for military.
Liaising with contractors conducting improvement or maintenance works in AFCO Aberdeen.
