Summary
Are you looking for an morning and/or afternoon job? We have two Playworker vacancies in our Club; one in the morning to support our Breakfast Club and another in our Afterschool School Club. The morning session is 7.30am to 8.30am and the afterschool session between 3.15pm and 5.45pm, Monday to Friday during term time. We will consider a level of flexibility regarding the days and/or hours, for example, starting later in the afternoon, which may suit a College student, or only working Monday to Thursday. The roles can be separated. Mornings, 5 hours per week £2,752 per yearAfternoons, 12.5 hours per week £6,880 per yearYour role will be to support the Club Manager Meeting and greeting the children, building effective relationships with parents and carers.Providing a healthy snack to our Club members, encouraging children to try new foods and eat a balanced breakfast. Promoting good table manners and ensure that children behave in an appropriate manner while eating.Setting up a variety of activities for our pupils, including books, games, puzzles, art and craft etc encouraging children to play co-operatively and purposefully.Managing children's personal and physical care and needs on a daily basis, encouraging self help at all times.If you are looking for a job that is term-time only and leaves you free for the rest of the day, this may be the job for you.
