Summary

This hybrid role offers a great balance of home and office working. You’ll join your colleagues in your local office at least 2 to 3 days a week.

As the UK’s largest fibre-only network, and its only proven wholesale challenger, we’re busy setting new standards for what digital infrastructure can and should be.

Designed from scratch for the internet, our network is greener, more reliable and ready for the future. The products we provide over it not only lead the market on speed, value and service, they help businesses to innovate, provide entire communities with a better foundation for their digital lives and support economic growth, locally and nationally.

What does that mean for you? The opportunity to make internet connections (and daily life) a whole lot better, for a lot of people!

Joining us as the M&A IT Integration Lead

We’re looking for a strategic and experienced IT leader to join our team as we continue to grow through acquisitions. As the M&A IT Integration Lead, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring newly acquired businesses are seamlessly integrated into our technology landscape. You’ll work across multiple teams and systems to deliver smooth transitions that support business continuity and long-term success. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape how we scale and evolve our IT capabilities.

You’ll receive a competitive salary, a car allowance, a performance-related bonus, and a range of benefits to support your financial, physical, and mental wellbeing.

This is some of what you can expect to be doing:

Leading the full IT integration lifecycle for each acquisition, from due diligence to post-merger stabilisation

Coordinating cross-functional teams across IT, engineering, customer operations, and third-party vendors

Managing key workstreams including infrastructure, data migration, systems consolidation, and cybersecurity

Acting as the escalation point for IT-related risks and issues during integration

Ensuring change management processes are followed, including stakeholder communications and training

Reporting progress, risks, and KPIs to senior leadership and programme governance forums

What you’ll bring to the role

You’ll be a confident IT programme leader with a strong background in M&A or complex integration environments. You’ll also have:

Proven experience managing IT integrations or transformations in fast-paced, high-change environments

Strong understanding of telecom networks and IT systems (OSS/BSS, CRM, provisioning)

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Solid knowledge of risk, change, and project governance principles

Experience working with Agile and ITIL methodologies

A relevant degree in IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience, and ideally a project management certification (e.g., Prince2, MSP, PMP)
