They are looking for a technically capable and motivated junior Technician to join them full-time. This role is ideal for someone who has recently completed a relevant college qualification and is keen to gain hands-on experience in a real-world setting.

The Role

You'll be working onsite five days a week within a small, close-knit team. This is a practical, hands-on role that requires someone confident, resourceful, and ready to work independently. You won't be hand-held, so being a self-starter with strong technical knowledge and problem-solving ability is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide first-line technical support to clients and internal users.

- Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and user accounts.

- Assist with monitoring, backups, and general IT maintenance.

- Troubleshoot network, printer, and software issues.

- Keep internal records and documentation up to date.

Requirements:

- Completed technical college qualification (e.g. Level 3 IT, BTEC, or equivalent in Computing/ICT).

- Practical experience through college projects, internships, or part-time roles.

- Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, Office 365, and networking fundamentals (IP, DNS, routers, switches).

- Familiarity with helpdesk or ticketing tools.

- Confident working independently and using initiative.

- Strong communication and organisational skills.

- Must be able to work onsite in Speldhurst, Monday to Friday.

- Must have your own transport to be able to commute to Speldhurst.

Why Join Our Client?

- Gain valuable hands-on experience in a real working IT environment.

- Be part of a small, friendly team where your contribution really matters.

- Excellent opportunity to build your technical skills and grow your career.

Application Process:

- Please apply now with an up-to-date CV.

- Our client will then send you an email with a link to record a short video explaining why you're interested in the role and what technical experience you bring.
