Summary

Contract onsite in London

This contract roles will require you to conduct security clearance prior to assignment. The Solution Architect role is conducted in an environment that is far from ordinary, therefore, we're not looking for ordinary.

Our customer is seeking to deliver a complex cross-domain technology solution in support of wider business objectives.

The Solution Architect will be responsible for introducing the overall technical vision, and will work with business users and designers to elaborate on how they can best deliver this critical project.

Key responsibilities and job-related skills include:

*Communicating between the technical and non-technical stakeholders (including business sponsors, system users, technical specialists and wider business support functions)

*Problem analysis (including looking beyond the immediate technical problem to identify wider implications)

*Functional and non-functional requirement definition

*Solution definition and shaping (recognising that no solution is likely to meet all aspects of time/quality/cost/performance, and thus being prepared to make trade-offs to deliver an "optimum" solution)

*Working with business and technology stakeholders to translate high-level system concept into technical designs

*System delivery and operation (noting that the architectural design of a system or product is not sufficient for it to enter service successfully and be supported whilst in operation - controlling, assuring and managing activities during delivery is essential)

*Commercial considerations (consciously controlling supplier relationships and budgets throughout the life of the system)

*Throughout, clear explanation of how decisions have been reached will be vital, as will understanding and resolving disputes around varying levels of complexity and risk.

As an organisation and as a team, Guidant Global are committed to fostering an equitable, diverse and inclusive workplace, where every employee and contractor feels valued and empowered throughout their time with us.

We actively seek to recruit talent from all backgrounds, and to draw on a rich blend of experiences, perspectives and creativity. We believe that when people are respected and included, they are motivated to bring their best and whole selves to work, leading to innovative solutions and exceptional outcomes for all parties
