Summary
Enfield Carers Centre is growing. We seeking experienced 2 Senior Care Support Workers to join our team. We looking for candidates within the borough of Enfield, to provide domiciliary care to people in their own homes, ensuring they can live independently and comfortably. This full-time role involves providing essential care and support to our service users both adults and children, including personal care, companionship, light housekeeping, and assistance with daily living activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Personal Care: Assist service users with personal hygiene, dressing, and other day-to-day care needs.
Food Preparation: Assist with meal preparation and ensure that service users have access to healthy and nutritious meals.
Companionship: Offer emotional support and companionship to service users, fostering positive relationships.
Light Housekeeping: Support with light household tasks such as cleaning and laundry.
Client Care Assessments and report writing: It is expected that the Senior Support Worker will support the care office with client assessments.
Key Requirements:
Experience & Qualifications:
Previous experience in a domiciliary care setting is essential.
Ideally, Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
Previous experience working with individuals in their own homes
Preference will be given to those who also have experience working with Learning disabilities
Experienced in assessments and report writing.
Must have a DBS on the Update Service.
Skills:
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to provide excellent care with compassion and respect.
Additional Requirements:
A valid UK driver’s license and access to a car (essential). Preference will be given to applicants who are car drivers.
A valid DBS check.
Solid work reference.
Must be prepared to work Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm plus one day on the weekend every other week.
