Hours: Monday to Friday, with overtime available
Are you a skilled HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician, or HGV Fitter ready to step up into a leadership role? We're looking for a hands-on Workshop Supervisor to join our Coatbridge team and help keep our operation running smoothly.
What You'll Be Doing:
• Lead daily workshop activity and oversee trailer servicing and repairs
• Support and guide other HGV Technicians and HGV Fitters in the team
• Plan workloads and prioritise urgent repairs
• Maintain high standards of health & safety in the workshop
• Use your knowledge as a seasoned HGV Mechanic to identify cost-effective repair methods
• Manage stock, holiday cover, and overtime with your manager
• Spot commercial opportunities like warranty claims or additional work
• Provide hands-on training and share your expertise with the team
• Keep accurate paperwork and compliance records
• Deliver outstanding customer service and uphold our brand values
Who We're Looking For:
• A qualified HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician, or Trailer Technician (City & Guilds Level 1-3 or equivalent)
• Strong team player who leads by example
• Excellent communicator with a proactive approach
• Organised and confident in prioritising tasks
• Comfortable with basic admin and using workshop systems (training provided)
• Previous supervisory experience is great - but if you're an experienced HGV Fitter ready to take the next step, we want to hear from you
