Summary

Learning Resource Centre (LRC) Assistant (EL801)
Salary: £23,492 pro rata per annum

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 0.4fte – 14.8 hours per week, part year working (40 weeks per year).

Location: Ellesmere Port Campus

New opportunities have arisen for inspirational people to join our College in the role of Learning Resource Centre Assistant.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist students and staff with their enquiries and information needs using a range of sources.
Assist students and staff in the use of the resources and facilities available in the Learning Resource Centre
Supervise students in order to maintain a pleasant and safe working environment and be responsible for managing appropriate behaviour at all times.
Provide support to both teachers and students during booked lessons in the LRC
Key Person Specification Requirements:

GCSEs C (4/5) in English and Maths (or equivalent);
Experience of working directly with customers;
Good digital literacy skills; and
Enhanced DBS check.
