Are you an innovative manager who prides themselves on managing a motivated team to provide good customer service?

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and performance-focused manager to lead our Parking Services team and deliver on parking-related schemes.

This role provides an ideal opportunity for the right person to join us to develop and shape what we currently do, to meet the changing demands of our parking service. You will be instrumental in improving and delivering an efficient parking service that provides maximum financial and environmental benefits, for both the council and our residents.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable management experience in an enforcement, customer service or local government transport operations role (or similar).

You will also be confident with ICT, including Microsoft applications, with an ability to learn new systems and develop them to fit the departmental needs.

The Role & Responsibilities: 

To lead and develop the efficient operation of the Parking Services Team for the delivery of an exceptional service.

To oversee all aspects of Parking Services, including:

compliance and enforcement functions from the issuing of Penalty Charge Notices to responses to appeals at all stages

managing all aspects of the council’s on and off-street parking functions

ensuring that income is maximised across the service, offering both operational and strategic advice in support of the council’s priorities.
