Summary
We are looking for an experienced CNC Turner / Lathe Programmer Setter Operator to join a friendly team in Birmingham. machines to produce turned components to tight tolerances.
Key Responsibilities
Setting and operating CNC sliding head & fixed head lathes
Programming and editing using FANUC controls
Changing tips, drills, tools, and inserts as required
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Using measurement tools (Vernier calipers, micrometers, ring gauges, and shadowgraphs)
Logging measurements and production data on our in-house system
What We're Looking For
Proven experience as a CNC Turner / Lathe Programmer Setter
Strong background with Citizen L20 and L32 machines is preferred but not essential
Confident in setting, operating, and minor program adjustments
Comfortable with FANUC controls and working to tight tolerances
Able to work independently and take responsibility for your section
Temp to Perm basis
£18.50ph
