The Rotherham CAMHS Service have gone through a period of service redesign and therefore have an exciting opportunity for a Band 4 Mental Health and Wellbeing Triage Coach CAMHS Practitioner to join our Getting Advice Pathway Team. The successful candidate will join a multi-disciplinary team completing triage, advice and signposting for young people, their families and professionals.

The role will support individuals to move form surviving to thriving by helping people to feel in control of their health and wellbeing by addressing mental health, general health, wellbeing and inclusion needs.



To provide individual support for young people, their families and carers within Getting Advice to explore ways of improving mental health and well-being.

Support young people to utilise self-help and to aid individual goal planning and measurement of recovery using standardised tools available on the clinical system as clinically relevant.

Support young people to make informed choices about their health and wellbeing, which includes improve the levels of physical activity, promote a healthier diet, and improve mental wellbeing.

Completion of effective telephone triage including information gathering, outcome measures, dialog, current view etc to aid decision making for an efficient young person journey

Effectively signpost and support access to appropriate services.

Support referrers into service to action advice and signposting
