Summary

Skilled Construction Site Roadworker Wanted

London-Based (BS35 & BS37 Projects) | 12+ Months | Monday to Friday
Long-Term Role with Excellent Hours and Stability

We're looking for a Skilled Construction Site Roadworker to join an established 3-person gang on a major cycle path construction project. You'll be supporting deep civils works across BS35 & BS37 and must bring hands-on experience, reliability, and a proactive work ethic to the team.

Candidates willing to relocate to London or Bristol area will be prioritised.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in highways, footpaths, or civil infrastructure projects

  • Confident operating small tools (wheelbarrows, rakes, etc.)

  • Skilled in use of disc cutters, breaker packs, and vibrating plate compactors

  • Experience using Cat & Genny (with up-to-date calibration preferred)

  • Familiarity with site safety protocols and working as part of a gang

  • Physically fit, punctual, and team-oriented

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Assisting in the construction of cycle paths and associated groundwork

  • Supporting the Site Chargehand and Skilled Operatives with daily site tasks

  • Safely transporting and using tools, materials, and plant

  • Carrying out duties in accordance with H&S regulations and productivity expectations

  • Working out of a 3.5-tonne tipper as part of a mobile team
