Millison Chase Limited is looking for experienced HGV C drivers to work with our client,
Our client is a larger well established family-owned distribution company looking fulltime ongoing HGV Class 2 drivers to join their expanding team, with temporary to permanent roles available
Job Description:
This is a temporary ongoing role for a HGV C (Class 2) Driver with Millison Chase Limited working within our client’s depot between Evesham / Worcester,
As a HGV C Driver you will be responsible for daily deliveries / collections, ensuring the safe transportation of goods and maintaining accurate records of delivery schedules.
Shifts can be long but are in keeping with in law and legislation.
The job itself will consist of delivering various loads with use of a ridged curtain sided lorry delivering business to business on varied routes normally 1 to 15 drops or collections on return.
There is handball on this job with most deliveries forklifted off but with some H/ball using a pallet truck and underslung tale lift.
Qualifications
Valid UK HGV C (Class 2) license
Experience with daily deliveries and transportation of goods
Strong knowledge of road safety regulations
Excellent communication and time management skills
UK CPC card
UK digi Card
No more than 6 penalty points and only SP codes allowed
1 year driving experience for insurance Purposes
Pay
Days Mon to Fri £15.00 per hour
Weekends £17.50 per hour
This is equivalent to between £16.81 & £19.61 pay when you factor in holiday pay
