Summary
We are currently seeking a skilled and dependable Class 2 (HGV) Driver to join a respected logistics team based in the Bilborough area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being out on the road and takes pride in delivering great service. The role involves transporting goods across the Midlands, with up to 10 drops per day. You will be responsible for handballing goods off to clients upon delivery, so a good level of physical fitness is essential. While your primary vehicle will be a Class 2, there may be occasions when you're asked to drive a 7.5-tonne vehicle depending on operational needs. To be considered, you must hold a valid Category C licence, a digital tachograph card, and a current CPC qualification. We're looking for a reliable and flexible individual who can work independently, manage their time well, and maintain high standards of safety and professionalism on every route.
Successful HGV 2 Drivers will have:
- HGV 2 driving licence entitlement
- A valid UK CPC qualification
- A valid Digital Tachograph Card
This is an ongoing role.
Working an average of 30 to 40 hours, starting between 06:00 and 08:00, working Monday to Friday
The rate of pay is £18.15 per hour paid via our Umbrella provider.
You can choose to get paid through PAYE, meaning the pay is £15.00 per hour and in addition to this, we offer full pay for 28 days of annual leave,
which will make the hourly rate £16.81 per hour including your holiday accrual.
