    Hours: 40 hours per week

    Pay: Competitive salary dependent on experience

    Contract: Full-time, Permanent

    Shift: Days, 5 x 8 hour shifts per week

The Head Chef is a role model within the Home and has a real opportunity to add value to our resident experience by managing all aspects of the dining experience in the.

    What you will be doing:

    • Leading the Kitchen and Dining service across the home.
    • Designing, presenting and delivering high quality menu options.
    • Procuring ingredients and delivering impeccable customer service in line with Health, Safety, Food Hygiene and COSSH regulations.
    • You will also have an opportunity to recruit, induct and develop within your department.

    What you need to succeed:

    • Impeccable leadership and communication skills.
    • Intermediate food hygiene certificate.
    • Knowledge of therapeutic diets and experience of delivering a high-quality service as a Head Chef is essential.
    • Experience of recruiting, inducting and training your own team.
