Whitchurch Primary School is a large three form entry school which offers a supportive and caring environment in which children can grow and learn. We are seeking to appoint two enthusiastic and hardworking Teaching Assistants, one for Foundation Phase and one for Key Stage 2, who will work alongside class teachers supporting individuals and groups in their learning. The successful applicant will have excellent literacy and numeracy skills and be constructively able to work as part of a team, as well as showing individual initiative.
The successful candidate will:
● be an inspirational, dedicated and highly effective Teaching Assistant.
● demonstrate commitment to and experience of the Foundation Phase and/ or Key Stage 2.
● have high expectations of attainment and behaviour.
● be committed to the well-being and nurture of pupils.
● work as part of a close team to achieve the very best for our pupils.

● have a strong commitment to their own continued learning and professional development.
● have experience of running interventions

Under the Education (Wales) Act 2014, all School Learning Support Workers must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
